The aim of this document is to provide economical considerations to model the devices involved in the management of the microgrid under study in project DER-IREC22@Microgrid. The main devices considered are: wind microgenerator, photovoltaic array generator, battery for energy storage, loads (3 different types are considered: programmable, adjustable, and a mixture of the previous two), electrical vehicles and the distribution network.

One of the challenges of this project is to develop a control system to optimize the operation of the microgrid according to technical and economical criteria. That means the algorithms deployed will have to consider the economical behaviour of these devices to find the best solution.

For each device, the most relevant economic variables, such as ROI (return of investement) related to the depreciation or operation and mantainance cost have been identified.
